12.08. - 17.08. Bali - Indonesia
This was my first time traveling in Asia and also the first time I traveled with my best friends. It was amazing. Indonesia is such a beautiful country with all its unspoiled countrysides. With 27-30 degrees the weather was perfect. We were fortunate that it didn't rain in these 5 days we were there even though it was the rainy season. We stayed at the Sun Island Hotel (a really recommendable hotel) which is located in Kuta, a village in southern Bali. The staff was so hilarious and attentive. We also became friends and they showed us around Bali.
The main road was full of Bars, Mini markets and local shops. The beach was 20 min walk away. The water was so clear and the waves high. We visited the famous Tegallalang rice terrace, the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary and the Palace in Ubud which is a 2 hours drive away from Kuta. These places are breathtaking, we enjoyed every second of it. We have heard of a big waterfall, unfortunately we hadn't got time to visit the waterfall in Bali. Anyway, the long way was really worth it and this was only the beginning of our journey. The best is yet to come...
